You can receive your second dose at any vaccination site. After the interval between doses, you will receive your SMS telling you where and when to go for your appointment.  Your 2nd dose appointment may not be where your first appointment was as the programme the location of active vaccination sites may change. If you have not received your SMS when your second dose is due, bring your vaccination card and visit a nearby site to receive your second dose.

From Wednesday, 23rd February 2022, the interval between the first and second doses of the Cominarty® (Pfizer) vaccine will be reduced from 42 days to 21 days.

If you have access to the Internet, and the second appointment you receive does not suit you, you can choose when and where to get the second vaccine or change your vaccination appointment. To do this:

  •   Go to
  •   Make sure you have the ID, non-RSA Passport number or Asylum Seeker/Refugee Number you used to register.
  •   You will need to be able to receive a one-time pin (OTP SMS) on the cellphone number you used when you registered.
