Coughing more than 2 weeks (can include coughing blood), unexplained weight loss and night sweats. Other symptoms: chest pain, feeling weak.

The most common symptoms of TB are:

  • an ongoing cough for more than 2 weeks (can include coughing blood)
  • losing weight
  • fever
  • night sweats
  • chest pain
  • feeling weak

Often, you will only have mild symptoms for a long time. This could stop you from getting a test. This can increase the risk of spreading the disease to others.
