The first 1000 days (from conception to age 2) set the foundation and path for your baby’s development and the opportunity for his or her to achieve full potential. In these early years your baby’s brain is developing at lightning speed and every experience your baby has will determine how his or her brain is wired or developed. Each kiss, each loving touch, each smile, each word – each and every experience promotes the development of brain cells and connections. A child who lacks relationships/ bonding/attachment with a caring adult will often fail to develop normally and is unlikely to thrive and do well. They will most likely fail to develop a strong sense of self and self-confidence, not be able to form trusting relationships with others and not be motivated to learn.

Strong bonding and attachments are essential for your baby’s healthy growth and development.
