1. Listen to your friend without judgement. It is important to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for your friend to talk about their experience.

 2. Believe them. Let your friend know that you believe them and that you are there to support them.

4. Respect their decisions. Respect your friend’s decisions about how they want to handle the situation. 

5. Take care of yourself. It can be difficult to support someone who has experienced sexual abuse, so make sure to take care of yourself and seek support if needed.
