The first baby movements, called quickening, often happen between 16-22 weeks. At first it may feel like fluttering or bubbles. As your baby grows, the kicks and jabs will get stronger.

It's normal not to feel movements every day yet. Your placenta position can also muffle sensations. By 24 weeks, you should feel movements daily. If you ever go 12+ hours without feeling baby, go to your clinic asap!

If you're worried you're not feeling enough movement, try lying still and focusing. Cold, sweet juice or music may also prompt baby. But don't stress - every pregnancy is different! As long as scans look good, a chill baby is also fine.

Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy sisi!
